In this class we will consider a wide variety of legal issues that impact classroom teachers, students and the education profession as a whole. We can be flexible but I have included the following list of anticipated subjects for our discussion. Each week we will look at a significant case that has played a important role in shaping educational policies. If you have a particular interest or case and would like to see it become a subject for discussion please make this known to the instructor.
