Professional Development and Graduate Certificate Cancellation, Withdrawal and Refund Policy
Three Credit Graduate Course Withdrawal / Refund Policy:
- One week or more prior to the **first class, 100%, less $60.00 processing fee
- Before the ***second class, 90% of the tuition*
- Before the ****third class, 50% of the tuition*
- After the ****third class, no refund
*Tuition per course is calculated based on the cost of the course minus $201.00 in program support fees
**First Class for Fall & Spring is the Monday of the first week of class. Summer is the first day of the course.
***Second Class for Fall & Spring is the Monday of the second week of class. Summer the second day of the course.
****Third Class for Fall & Spring is the Monday of the third week of class. Summer: the third day of the course.
Contact NCTA directly during NCTA office hours (Monday – Friday 11:00 pm – 5:00 pm) to process your withdrawal from a course. Emails and phone calls received during non-business hours are dated the next business day. Office phone : 781-986-5628
When a course has been cancelled and will not be offered during that semester, a phone call, email, and/or letter will be sent to notify the enrollees. Every attempt will be made to transfer the student to another open course or they will be refunded according to NCTA’s Refund Policy.
Note: The withdrawal policy applies to a request to transfer from one course to another.
Four Credit Graduate Course Certificate Withdrawal/No Refund Policy
Registration for the Graduate Certificate program is two courses per semester. By completing the registration process for two intense courses per semester, you agree to be a cohort participant and will meet the FSU contract and commitment to complete the program. Contracts between NCTA and FSU are signed prior to program commencement, thereby making it necessary to implement a no refund policy for any four graduate credit courses once registration has been competed.
