Professional Development With Norfolk County Teachers Association

Offered for teachers by teachers...  A tradition of educating our peers...

Need credits for recertification?  Looking for a great learning opportunity?

The Norfolk County Teachers Association is committed to providing affordable and meaningful graduate level courses for our members.

We offer professional development courses to new and experienced school teachers, nurses, counselors and administrators. Our courses are designed for 21st century learners and leaders encouraging them to excel professionally and personally.

Our dedicated and talented instructors are elementary, secondary and higher education professionals, as well as librarians, and other professionals. Our online class environment supports active, collaborative learning.  Students work closely with instructors and other classmates to engage with one another and develop their ability to gather and evaluate information, communicate effectively, think critically and creatively, reason quantitatively, and apply information and emerging technologies.

NCTA is always looking to expand our course offerings and we encourage you to become an instructor with us.  More information can be found on our website or by contacting the NCTA office.

Don't hesitate to contact our Director of Graduate Programs, Ms. Deborah Barrett at if you have any questions or would like more information about these exciting courses!
