Examines the history of the American legal system using the case-study method. Participants will examine the role of law and its practical application as protection for individuals and government power by looking at historically significant trials that have taken place during the past three hundred years. Course topics are linked to the Massachusetts History and Social Science Curriculum Frameworks.
