We will examine the impact of law and the courts on the classroom and the children we teach.  We explore a variety of issues from both a theoretical perspective as well as a practical viewpoint. Readings, discussions, films and speakers will help flesh out these topics and provide a deeper understanding of the human dimensions of these critical issues.
