This is an online course where participants will explore what it means to be “innovative,” how we encourage innovation and creativity in our students, and why encouraging innovative and creative thinking is important. Participants will explore 21^st century skills and explore how they can be fostered in the classroom. Participants will read and discuss important topics from Creating Innovators by Tony Wagner, as well as other relevant journal articles and videos and reflect on how those ideas can be applied to their own teaching and instruction.
