This 36-hour course will explore past, present and modern definitions of LD. Carroll-Horn-Cattell (CHC) theory will be outlined as a guiding theoretical framework for the assessment process. Numerous achievement tests will be reviewed and practiced. Research between LD and intellectual ability will be reviewed.
