A person's self-esteem impacts one's capabilities in decision-making, problem solving, time efficient concentration, academic achievement and in being a productive citizen, all areas promoted by the Education Reform Act. One's self worth also impacts the development or demise of one's character. This course will explore reasons why character is compromised in the "at-risk" individual and will discuss effective strategies for the teacher and student. This course is applicable to all content areas because it utilizes scientific, research based information to compare qualitative and quantitative curriculum application.

Supply Fee $25.00, payable to instructor at first class.

Framingham State University - 3 graduate credits
