Those with beginner level computer knowledge and above are welcome to make Internet technology an integral element of curriculum & nbsp;learning for Social Studies. You will be introduced to practice accessing, using, and critically evaluating services such as the World Wide Web, file transferring, importing graphics and data. Practice using Web browsers, customizing browsers, and locating resources for specific curriculum needs. We will design charts and posters using the computer for paste-up lettering, clip arts, creative borders and other graphics.The class will create and present Social Studies curriculum related projects, and share ideas and knowledge relating to the products. This course is designed in accordance with the Department of Education’s Benchmark Standards, providing basic technology training, which is required by all teachers. This course will provide educators with new ideas to help their own students use Word and the Web, to create quality research projects importing graphics and data.

 Bring Laptop is possible.

Location: Onsite, Stoughton, O'Donnell Middle School - Wednesdays
